The first section of this song paints a vignette of a hectic lifestyle, stressing, watching your friends make bad decisions, doubting yourself and the unlikeliness of success, but the determination to reach it. Then main drum sample slows in time and pitch and drops into a menacing but emotional beat where themes of hard work, addiction and pain are thrown in rapid fire flows, its a whole vibe/beat switch while repurposing the drums.more
